Hacking Way to watch and convert .Sfd?

So Metroid: Other M use .sfd.
Is there a way to watch them and/or convert it.
I want to make a music video with the clips.

This is how watching .sfd video look.

The only conversion tool I know of is beto's sfd2mpg: http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown/2004/dcdev/sfd2mpg02.lzh

I had success using this to convert the title & ending videos for R:Racing, but I don't know how well it would work on more recent stuff. It's certainly worth a try!

Do you just drag the .sfd file to the .exe?

Try that and it didnt work

sfd2mpg is a command line tool. There is another file in the archive besides the .exe - I suggest that you study it.
