I'm in the market for exactly this. Trouble is, Dell is saying "usually ships in 6+ weeks"Â

I hear ya. The price was worth the wait for me, especially with my lack of any gamecube games to begin with.

Just got mines today. I LOVE it! Much smaller than a wavebird and my hands are big but they feel so comfortable in my hands. Not too small. I love it.

Question... The only way to turn off the blinking light on the receiver is to unplug it from the gamecuve control socket?

Also, what is that empty covered space underneath the receiver used for? The cover for it falls off pretty easily.

No idea what it's for but the same thing happens on mine too. There a little PCB in the there but no edge connecter to connect it to anything. Random...

Yeah, I just put a little piece of tape on it to hold it on there. I dont understand why they would put that there and make it fall off so easy.

Yea I ended up hoping on ebay and buying a brand new sealed wavebird for like $45! lol I couldnt believe how much they were going for. It kills me that I had I think three of them back in the day for my gamecube and only paid $29.99 for them!

If anyone just wants a controller for roms, try ebaying the Hori Classic Controller. Looks like the SNES controllers and works pretty well despite having the crappy GCN button layout

I would recommend it because of the faithful d-pad. It isn't too bad working around the buttons since they are almost in an XBYA layout anyway, just different shapes/sizes =P
