This is very sad for me since I have four Wavebirds, and one is still sealed.

One of my Wavebirds, it's analog stick, the main one, started to work just vertically!

I tryed everything, changing batteryes, changing the cannhel, but it doesn't return to normal!

Do you guys have any idea of what could it be the reason or the fix?

It looks just like brand new!!

I have had this for a few wired GC controllers over the years, one of the analogues only working in one direction.

Never bothered to properly tear into the sensor assembly as replacing the whole assembly was easier and cheap enough that I was not bothered, however it did not seem like a simple fix there (no simple cold joints or anything). I don't know offhand if the wavebird uses the same assembly (good design would have them do it, it is not impossible at all that it is different though) but if it does then you might be able to cannibalise a wired controller or another controller broken in a different way.
