Warriors Orochi 2 is the obvious sequel to the crossover Koei action game Warriors Orochi, which takes characters from their Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises. For a series that has limited source material to work with (I don't want to say that the games are all the same because that's not fully true), Orochi actually takes place outside of historical contexts from China and Japan for a new story that brings the three kingdoms of China and the Samurais together and against each other.
I actually enjoyed the first game though it was effectually my first Dynasty Warriors game, so I'm really looking forward to the second one. I really only played the PSP version and that was surprisingly good for a handheld/considering the size of the game/it being a port. It's going to be a pain raising everyone up again, but hey, new story might offset that.
