I'm sick of hearing about this bollocks, and even more sick of the amount of money being poured into projects to "save us" from this potentially non-existant threat.

Just for people like you I'd want global warming to happen. I want the ice on Greenland and the Antarktis to melt. I want temperatures to rise and massive droughts everywhere. And then, when you're drowning or you're starving I'd want to rub it in your face. Nanananananah. You were wrong.

The point of this global warming thing is, IMHO, when you (and the other skeptics) are right, well, we have wasted a good amount of time, energy and money for nothing. That's life. We'll get over it. Environmentalists deserve all the humiliation they can get.

But when climate scientists are right, we have caused the very much biggest problem in earth history with our CO2 consumption (or better, none-consumption, since we're happily blowing it into the atmosphere). I dunno how you (and the other climate change skeptics) think about it, but the outcome of acting against global warming (and possibly being wrong) highly outweighs the benefits of not acting (and possibly being wrong), in my honest opinion.

However, this doesn't take into account that once your electric car is charged, there are no more carbon emitions, whereas your gasoline power car still is required to burn the gasoline and produces further emissions.

Here you go Energy consumption isn't the only bad thing about electric cars, there's also the whole issue of battery disposal.

This same argument can be made about ethanol produced from corn, it's actually more expensive and more harmful to the environment than gasoline.

The average temperature of the planet 2 years ago was the same as it was like 150 years ago, or something like that - i forget the exact figures.
We have had 2 ice ages on this planet (to our knowledge) - What happened after these ice ages ? The earth warmed up...... ALL BY ITSELF ! No cars, no games consoles, no pollution... just good ol' mama nature.

I hope Greenpeace will hit a wall soon and cease to exist, vanish from earth. Without their polarizing PR crap we possibly would have less of those funny "critics" who try to argue against even doing something against climate change.
