Everyone should know this by now but you are risking your device from getting damaged (possibly) by just booting into linux, don't be like me. After messing around with linux by booting it up 30-40 times, I was not able to go back to RCM mode and whenever I bootup my switch it showed a red nintendo logo. Luckily I had the tools to open up my switch and fix this problem by just unplugging and plugging back the internal battery.
For battery drain issues (Hard Reset the Switch):
1. Hold the POWER button for 20 seconds
2. Let go of the POWER button and then press it once to see if the nintendo logo boots up
If Hard Reset doesn't work, you must need to get proper tools to open up the Nintendo Switch to unplug and plug back the internal battery.
