But have you tried the wad you created with smb2? What's the file size?

Then this is not working for you either, if you run it with cmd you will get the common key error and a 4kb title.wad. I think this is just a fake...

i've just realised that the smb2 file is only 1.33MB so it's definately just a bad dump i'm d/ling the dK2 files right now and will post results soon as possible

okay so i used version 0.0002 with the blaze dump of DKC2 and it outputs a ~21MB file, about to test

Edit: dammit, still won't install. it must just be the user (me) at fault

i get error when installing on wii: "Installing ticket (JBDP)... Error! (ret = -1020)"
(maybe bad dump?)
