no you don't, all you need is the files that are there.
i just used this program to make a .WAD of the super mario bros two vc game that was just released

Here comes the games haha....GBATemp should put them in their own column....theres gonna be a bunch....and fast.

can we expect with these all stuff (wad installer, wad packer,..) that -the future-wiiware is already hacked

I'd be careful with that if I were you. The tool's probably not the most complicated thing in the world, but it's certainly not for newbies. No offense of course.

just tried to install it, for some reason it wont install, i'll try to make a .WAD with key.bin in the same folder

EDIT: Same result, either this is fake or the smb2 was a bad dump

Please try rename the file key.bin to just common-key

that's strange, my copy of the wad packer doesn't even ask me the common-key. even when it's not in that directory

Check the wad, the one it created me was like 40kb big (if you run the exe with cmd you will get a "common-key not found" error).

It keeps giving me the common-key not found error even if i place the key in the folder (renamed key.bin, commonkey.bin, commmon-key). Tried with smb2 as I'm at work. Today i'll try to dump Super Metroid and pack it.

i think i know what's why it is asking you for common-key, are you running this program in command promt?, because if you open "cygcrypto-0.9.8.dll" in a hex editor it says that:
"This program cannot be run in DOS mode"

Hi Guy's,
So i've got Super Mario world, Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64, can ik just copy them to my SD card en then pack them with the WAD packer, or what should i do to get the games to you people out their!

yeah, my .WAD only comes out 4KB, i think its just a bad dump, i'll try with the first dump of diddy's kong quest
