Gaming W32.IRCbot/brute.exe?

Holy shit, you're making posts a minute apart. STOP.

When the people here have an answer, they'll post it.

Be patient or ask somewhere else.

For the record, multiposting (a word I just made up meaning making multiple posts in a row) is not generally allowed here. I've noticed you doing it on quite a few of your threads and I'll just tell you to stop.

1) Stop looking at porn on school computers

2) Get internet at your house

3) Stop looking at porn on school computers

4) let a school employee know that there is a virus on the computer and that it may be serious (but likely isn't).

Looks like an IRC-based bot which bruteforces passwords. Not all that harmful and easy to remove. Where'd you get it?

tell the admin that you have highly outdated anti-virus and suggest to update

...and get blacklisted to have your account revoked for 2 months longer than everyone else WITH NO EXPLANATION when you and the entire class used a student / hackers private proxy that he made at school to bypass the schools bullshit proxy..

Joe Barret is a sleaze who didn't want to update the anti-virus because tn the school's computers wouldn't have problems...like...CASHBACK BUDDY, BULLSEYE NETWORK, Alexa (the BAD ONE), annoying malware toolbars, and other BULLSHIT that plagued our system.

I had to install spybot from a jump drive (since they blocked installs from "Program Files") to get rid of the shit and I GOT IN TROUBLE.

It's all about the Administrators Job security, fix the problems, and the admin is needed less....

My Advice : Fuck the school and fuck the computers...let a worm virus crash the entire system (like a Grinch [Jim Carrey version] virus on all the computer screens) in the library o that the administrators l33t skillz is "needed" once more.....

The Grinch Virus was hilarious actually..it took exact sound bytes from the movie! XD

Push the Shutdown button - "Wrongo" XD

Have moths eat up the wallpaper whoo hoo XP

green virus like Jury Duty Jury duty letters infected the icons in the desktop haha...

Yea...the schools network was wiped out...but the creator was a fucking genius.

IN SHORT - Don't fix anything. to adults : snot-nosed kids don't know anything about computers...and any attempts to fix them will tag you as a rebel or a zelot trying to buck the system. If you have any sense at all...let the administrator fix the problem.

Stanley, your post made very little sense, and came across as a raving rant.

Anyway, the "correct" action to take is to inform the nearest teacher/administrator that you found a virus alert on one of their computers. Then leave it to them to sort it out. Viruses on school computers are very common, but there are ways to prevent them and it's up to the admins to work out how.

At my school that itself was a very slow process, and often futile with the number of viruses our kids were getting (from downloading porn/games/movies) all the time. All I could do was move the files onto floppy disk for my own research then clean the computers one at a time (of any viruses and illegally downloaded materials I could find... And the files sharing programs used to obtain them). There was one time I found a computer with no less than 1600 virus alerts on my AV scan. The next time I had an IT "lesson" in that room, I had to listen to the student at that computer complain that it was so slow. The teacher didn't know what to do, so I suggested it might have something to do with the 1600 viruses I found on it last time. That landed me with the tedious task of trying to track down where the admins were (there are 3 of them) and get them to fix the problem.

lol a placed a virus on the school network 2 months ago
the principle was not even mad on me
biggrin.gif
but damn he looks serious

We were trying to tell the admin, but she said she can't do anything about that, and that it comes from a home flash-drive. This isn't the only weird thing in my school, its HAUNTED. There is this weird molten teddy bear locked up that mumbles. It is molten because of a fire in the school on the 4th floor. The 4th floor is restricted for reasons unknown

too bad my school is not spooky

If it comes from a flash drive, then whoever owns that drive should take it home and run a proper scan on it.

As for the 4th floor... maybe they're incubating a dragon there, and don't want to risk anyone getting fried.
