Hacking vWii or USB loader not working?

Hi guys..

So i finally got my Wii U console and it has been softmodded and running CFW CHBC. Wii U homebrew is working fine, but when it comes to vWii it gives me problems.

Right now my vWii has access to the homebrew channel and USB loader GX.
I followed this guide to softmod vwii:


No matter what I do, I cant get any wii games to load.

1. I've made a folder on a harddrive called wbfs, put an iso in there and did not work
2. I've transferred the game via Wii backup manager, which did not work.
I also tried injecting it, which did not work either.

Everytime I load a wii game in USB loader GX, it goes straight back to homebrew channel menu.

Please I just want to be able to play mario kart wii (for now) on my wii U.

why dont you skip the usb loader for wii and make your own WII/GC Injects ... they work perfectly and its a very simple process ... i think i had made 80 wii injects & around 70 GameCube ones also ..alll working perfectly off the same 1TB HD as My WIIU Games ...

I ended up doing exactly that Runs muuch better

Yeah, so now I've got injected Wii / GameCube /Nds / Wii U AND N64 games working.! It's awesome to play super Mario 64 on my gamepad

I actually used WII64 the vwii channel ... For N64 games.. as the colors seemed to dark & it wasn't full 16.9 wide-screen.. ( OCD YEAH U KNOW ME) All the same it is tasty on the gamepad . We use a HD projector here... WIIU is full of hidden gems . Have fun mate

Oh see I like your kind of OCD!
So if you inject the emulator itself you get 16:9? That's cool! What about gamepad support and controls? Be the analogs utilized?

Sorry for the late reply... Yes to all the above 16.9.. Seems much brighter... & gamepad support . Wish it could do HD textures packs .. I doubt it can .. Didn't bother looking into it .. I was surprised Retroarch .. Couldn't do N64.. On WIIU .. But I'm not a hacker or truly understand code .. ( even though I pretend I'm the HackerMan) when I follow guidelines badly... To hack my consoles... & you can custom Edit the controls any which way that easiest for you to play ..

It's been well over a year since I hacked my WIIU . But I'm pretty sure this is the same video I followed ... To add N64 to my WIIU
