So I followed the vWii homebrew guide here Wii U hack Guide for the vWii and when I go to the vWii when I click the Wii button in the corner which if I remember correct should go to the settings instead it goes the storage menu instead of the settings any ideas?

The Vwii version of the wii menu is modded to hide the settings (which you are supposed to configure on the wiiu side, and are copied from there to vwii on every vwii boot)

If you really want to see them for fun, install a weather or news "region free" stub channel (from nus downloader or pretty much any game's update partition), select it in the wii menu, press update then no

Good so this is normal for the vWii. So how do I enable the internet on the vWii cause I tried to use Homebrew Browser and it seemed liked it didn’t like my internet config.

the internet should work as long as it works on the wii u side. try to sign in to the eshop. it's closed but you can still sign in.
