Hi there i have a problem installing some vpk games thru vitashell they keep failing.i also tried sum maidump games too thru the maidumptool.any 1 got any ideas please.

Hi there i placed the unpacked maidump games in the mai folder they show up in maidump tool but wont install.

I've never encountered a mai dump that wouldn't install. what happens when u dump ur games? the game should be there in the decryption list. I ripped all three of my games and installed them along with tales of hearts r dlc and patches without issue.

I got them in zip file unpacked them then placed them in the mai folder it seems to be the bigger games im having problems with i no i have enuff room on my pstv.i can install marvel vs capcom vpk in vitashell and it pops up in a bubble.thanks

I've installed world of final fantasy which may be the largest game, so large in fact that they couldn't fit the audio on the cart so it's downloadable. never had any issue. what happens when u install? an error? u might try updating maidump tool with its built in updater. that's the first thing u should rule out.

It's pretty difficult to help when you're being extremely vague and unspecific.

What do the errors actually say? How big is your memory card? How big are the games you're trying? Remember that VPK games require double the space unless you use VPK shrink, so if you're trying to install a 3GB VPK and you only have 4GB of space it won't work.

Cant remember the error as ive deleted the game but the game showed up in maidumptool and basicly said it couldnt find the game even though ive placed it in the correct folder.my memory card is 8gb im using a pstv.im trying to install unpacked maidumps and the size of the ge is about 3.2gb.thanks

What are you putting in the mai folder, exactly? Are you putting the folder with the games title ID in ux0:/mai? It should look something similar like this: ux0:/mai/PCSE00934
