Possible yes, but not yet done so far. I think it would be a nice "accessory" for the PSTV. but I'd like to see that most games that aren't compatible with the PSTV can use the Vita for that touch input that some games need. That would be awesome and would allow me to play if not all, most of the games for Vita on my HDTV using the Vita as input.

Another idea is to use the PSTV as a streaming device for the games being played on a Vita.

Both ideas are interesting. Time will tell.
