Gaming vista help

in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

that file redirects any website you want by doing this

so i redirected facebook to chucknorris.com

when i went to fix it and the hosts file and the facebook thing was GONE

any help here please reply asap please!!!!!!

Well i opened it with notepad++ and it had "69.63.184.142 facebook.com" I put http://69.63.184.142/ in firefox and it took me to facebook. Not sure what your problem is? but just delete 69.63.184.142 facebook.com from the host file if dont want it in there.

weird? i could not see and thing but the #hi microsoft stuff
and the local host thing but thanks i'll take another look!

i put that there to try and reverse the process i had facebook redirected to chucknorris.com

It's a system file. It's protected.
