Will installing clean wad versions do the trick?

don't know if that solves your problems but installing Wii wads on vWill will prevent you from updating the WiiU firmware and hence limited your game play. you should have done more researches and read the tutorials and stickies here before jumping in.

With the WiiU key leaked, the NUSD method MIGHT work but wait for the Pro to confirm.
There are many ppl that would say it works but they actually mean they HEARD it works. And there are trolls that will tell you the exact opposite to the truth.

And no, I can't link you to the leaked key. If you are lucky, you might found them buried here or somewhere on the Internet.

I don't think IOS rev affect much, update on the Wii U side will restore to the correct rev anyway, just make sure the donor IOS are clean, NTSC-U, and you should good to go. You can use WiiModLite from my sig to install IOS from vWii

I said don't follow the linked guide and download IOS with NUSD because I didn't check the generated file validity yet.
The vWii needs properly signed files, and as far as I know all packers are fakesigning.

I will test the vWii NUSD from last month and compare the files with the clean IOS.
the vWii common key is known, but what about the ancast key? you don't need to use it inside NUSD? or was the ancast just encryping the common key to make it harder to find? don't you need to decrypt the content twice ancast+common ?

The created wad is different than the clean dump made with BlueDumpMod.
I didn't try to install it (and I will not).

At least, the certificates are matching. but there are lot of differences inside the wad.


You can try to generate all the wrong IOS you have (36 to 80).
Then install IOS36 and run syscheck again. then post the result here.
Don't install all the IOS yet, just one.
don't touch your 58 or 80 yet! they are vital to fix your console.


There is a better way to fix your console without using NUSD.

edit2: After installing a clean IOS36, It removed the Trucha Bug from all the IOS' except for IOS236 and above(IOS236 now has a ES Identify along with it because I used it as the IOS to install the clean wad) IOS 512-513 have NO patches

I'm fairly certain IOS249, 250 and 251 doesn't exist in clean format. They're totally custom.
Don't rush this. You don't want to break something more than it is broken already.

The only issue now is the slot249 which contains a Wii IOS instead of vWii version.
vWii is compatible only with v10, all lower versions are Wii only.
Download this installer and decompress to your SD card.
it already contains v10 and v10 alt.

Launch the installer from HBC
then select this (with d-Pad left/right):
What : d2x v10 (r52) (don't install r53)
slot : 249
base : 56
version : 21010
press A to install.

After install, press Home to exit and that will be done. all your issues will be resolved.

make a clean up now on your SD card to remove all programs which could edit your system.
Remove pimpmywii, remove the cIOS installers, etc.
keep only games/emulators/loaders, don't risk your system again by keeping Wii tools on vWii.

make a clean dump of your IOS !
you already have the 36-80, but you don't have the other ones. you should generate them and keep them safe.
