Video Game logo Archive

The other day for one reason or another I decided to get the logos for all my wii games, should be an easy task....right. Wrong, for all the big games it was fine but for lots of the smaller games it was not so easy and some cases impossible to find a decent res logo. I would of thought somewhere on the web there would be some sort of videogame logo archive but apparently not (there probably is but I couldn’t find one)

So I decided I am going to set up a logo archive website for Hi-res logo's for all current gen consoles and perhaps sometime in the future for older consoles.

What I want to know is would anyone find this useful?
Would anyone be willing to help in this project?
And finally does anyone know if a logo archive already exists?

Edit: Does anyone know if there’s a hi-res released version of the metroid prime 3 logo that’s on the box not the logo mostly seen (The box art does not have the blue planet effect on the word "corruption" ) Thanks.

I think it would definitely be cool, I haven't really found a site like that, though that doesn't mean one doesn't exist. I probably can't help you with it though

I decided to go ahead with the project heres what I got so far http://www.aliengiblet.madasafish.com/index.htm. Not much of a site i will give it a proper design when theres more logos.

Any contributions logo wise much appreciated.

Great idea, Kairi. I also have some high resolution logos I could contribute. I got them from Nintendo press releases ages ago.

Very nice collection perfect I will get these up as soon as possible. When I get the site design finished I will give you credit in the thanks section. Has anyone else got logo's lying about on their hard drive if so send them to me you will get credit.

I'd say yes, because he's searching for high resolution logos. The ones I uploaded where about 2000-3000px wide.

Rob a Game Stop of all of their cases, and scan them No one will miss them and people take a few now and then anyway.

EDIT: Okay so I'm not completely serious XD Maybe you can borrow a few at a time and return them when you're done?

Scanning them wouldn't be the same quality as getting the digital original, trust me.
