So today, while I was taking the bus home after school, some guy flies off the handle after boarding an express bus without realizing it (around here, an "express" bus is a bus that only stops at major intersections). It's pretty hard to not realize that a bus is an express bus because the word "EXPRESS" flashes on the bus' destination marquee. Anyways, the bus driver announces that the bus that we were riding on was an express bus, and that the next stop would be quite a distance away. Once the bus starts moving, this guy (who looks like he's in his mid-30s, by the way) jumps up from his seat and yells to the bus driver, "Then let me off, bro!" The bus driver couldn't comply, so he decides the best course of action would be to repeat what he said, each time sounding more and more like he was about to cry, followed by walking to the front of the bus and making a complete bitch of himself, constantly whining and begging the driver to let him off the bus. Some (actually, most, if not all) of the other riders weren't amused by this, so one lady told him to grow a pair and to stop hassling the driver. The guy immediately flies into a rage, throwing around "Fuck you!"s and racial slurs to everyone, and storms off the bus.
What a fucking idiot. I honestly can't believe this guy. Instead of just accepting his fate, and learning from his mistakes, he decides to lash out at everyone around him. I guess the bus driver could've been nice and cut him some slack by quietly stopping on the side of the road and letting him off, but you can't really expect everyone to just bend to your needs.
Oh, and there was also this little incident where a driver almost runs over 2 pedestrians by trying to make a right turn at an intersection and being slightly more aware of her surroundings than a rock. Instead of handling her mistake like a normal, sensible person, she decides to lean on her horn while screaming unintelligibly.
Goddamn it, people are idiots.
