No, not the SGB colors
the GBC color you could select on the original GBC hardware with the button combinations before booting an GB game
Mmmmm well i don't have the palette.xml file setup properly for those, but I didn't find a page which lists all of the HEX values for each one of the colours the GBC used for its button combos:
https://tcrf.net/Game_Boy_Color_Bootstrap_ROM

I will upload my palettes.rar just for reference in case it helps.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Maybe this could serve as an example for adding all of them into the palettes.xml file. This is a test code I made for the palette used for when you press Right only:

Code:
<game name="Right" use="1">
   <bkgr c0="0xFFFFFF" c1="0x52FF00" c2="0xFF4200" c3="0x000000" />
   <wind c0="0xFFFFFF" c1="0x52FF00" c2="0xFF4200" c3="0x000000" />
   <obj0 c0="0xFFFFFF" c1="0x52FF00" c2="0xFF4200" c3="0x000000" />
   <obj1 c0="0xFFFFFF" c1="0x52FF00" c2="0xFF4200" c3="0x000000" />
</game>

Thank you @ShadowOne333
One other thing
the tcrf page lists 3 values per palette, on the vbagx it lists 4,

Where did you get the "wind" values?

I simply copy-pasted the values from BG.
I haven't found one for wind yet, I'm still looking.

Edit:
I keep finding only BG0, OBJ0 and OBJ1, I can't find anything related to that "WND" or wind one.

It would be much better to have BIOS support. I'm not sure how difficult that would be, just putting that out there.

Edit: I just checked Shantae, it has a notice in the title screen saying "GBA Enhanced" so I guess that's working fine

Hello
Here's my compilation mod for the VBAGx emu, credit goes for the original creators of these mods,
the only thing that I did was combine them, an add a few extras, enjoy.

Version 2.3.4 - Sept 15, 2016

* Based on lybertine's 2.3.2 Mod version
(already includes the wiiupro gamepad support and screenshot display)
The following updates where included on the beta 2.3.3 version
* Fixed the GC pad Down input on the File browser window
* Added Koston's green gb color screen
* Added the Screenshot Button
* Increased and Centered the Screenshot image and reduce game list width
* Added a background for the preview image
* Added the WiiuPro Controller icon on the controller settings
* Fix DSI error / Bug from Emulator Main Menu (Thanks to Tantric)
The following updates are included on the 2.3.4 version
* Added the delete save file (SRAM / Snapshot) option
* Changed the box colors for the SRAM and Snapshots files to match the color scheme of the emu GUI
* Change the "Power off Wii" exit option to completely turn off the wii, ignoring the WC24 settings
* Updated settings file name in order to have it's own settings file name
* Added an option to switch between screenshots, covers, or artworks images,
with their respectively named folders at the device's root.
You can set which one to show, by going to Settings > Menu > Preview Image.
The .PNG image file needs to have the same name as the ROM (e.g.: Mother 3.png)
* Removed sound from GUI (thanks to Askot)
* Added option to switch between the Green or Monochrome GB color screen.
You can set which one to show, by going to Settings > Emulation > GB Screen Palette.

Thank you for this. One question. Is it possible for the cover/screenshot images to be accessed via SMB share?

Did they fix the audio skipping? I want to download this for my Wii and Wii U if it plays just like the Wii U VC games, in terms of performance.

Zopenko!

Any chance that this VGAGX fork can possibly add a "scanlines" filter option just like the SNES9GX has? It would be amazing if you added that, would make games look perfect! Tested it with RetroArch Wii using the vgagx core with the scanlines overlay and they look amazing!! too bad I have to input the settings everytime which never save for me..:cry:

..but if you added this option IMO this would be the perfect emulator for GB/GBC/GBA games it and would save me a lot of trouble, please consider it. :D

Yet another awesome emulator receiving the Zopenko treatment! Many thanks for adding in great features to an already existing emulator!!

If by "audio skipping" you mean "frame skip" then yes, this latest version has a toggle to enable/disable the frame skipping which is very ideal depending on the game you are playing ofcourse. Turning it off definitely eliminates any audio skipping issues so it a lot better then the older versions in terms of frame skipping.

I agree with DarioEMeloD,

If not to difficult I agree I would like to see it use BIOS support as well since the color feature on GBC would defiantly be useful there and for I guess you could say an more authentic boot up screen if we choose to enable it or anything kinda like how Gensplus GX has the option to boot up the BIOS+Game or just BIOS or just Game. just a thought if you decide to allow it?
