vba wont use downloaded saves

im trying to use a save file for astroboy omega factor i got from game faqs since it says its a gameshark save i tried to import it using import gameshark snapshot but when ever i try to use it i get a error window saying cannot import snapshot for ASTROBOY BTAE. current game is ASTRO BOY-OMBTAP this is exactly how its worded by the way. ive tried renaming it to the name stated dident work tried downloading anouther copy of the game just incase i was playing a version that wasent compatible and nothing so can someone help me since im new here i cant put the link to the save files here but its on gamefaqs so it shouldent be to hard to find or just ask and ill send it.

gamfaqs just says there gameshark saves but all of the files are .sps files does this help at all

Please read accurately,it´s not difficult to use.
Right above you have to select by the format "VisualBoy Advance" and then select/check your codes and then use "download" right above.

tried it i just get a blank screen
