Gaming UV cathode problem

I bought some cathode kits, one blue and one UV, both kits had 2x 12" tubes




anyway less then 1 hour of use it seems the UV tube (the bottom one) isnt working anymore, it only lights up on the end (where goes into it), ive tried plugging the tube into a different plug, switched power inverter boxes and still the same, shook the tube and banged it and still nothing, I can see a lose metal wire inside of it

anyone have any idea's?

Could be a dead cathode, try contacting the company you bought it from for a exchange or refund.
