Still don't understand if putting a N3DS on 2.1 on sleep mode causes an MCU brick or not, and if it's recoverable with ntrboot

On N3DS , if you put the N3DS on sleep mode it would get a MCU brick.

Thing is, I have a friend internationally (Canada) that wants to use Homebrew and CFW on her O3DS 11.8U firmware, but she doesn’t know how to do this.

So... What exactly does she want to do with CFW? If The Guide is too complicated, then life with CFW is only going to get worse, especially if there's another firmware update. Just look around this forum and see all the people with problems they're having trouble describing, much less solving.

Perhaps one of the *hax exploits would be sufficient?

Ah come on we all know what 90% of people with CFW what to do which can't be done with *had payloads...
