In the past when I’ve tried to use a microsd card on a second Switch I receive an error message stating that the microsd card is tethered to a different switch. And that to use it on a new console requires wiping the data clean.

I’m curious if there’s a program that can somehow allow the same microsd card card to be used on multiple switch consoles. Thanks.

I’ve not heard of anything like this. It’s a neat idea, but with SDcard prices being pretty low I imagine this is a fairly niche use case. Swapping cards between consoles puts undue stress on the card reader too.

I keep a stash of a dozen or so blank SDCards on hand for projects and tests and such. They are a commodity item. That or maybe I have ”geek issues.”

Hi5, I keep a secret stash of SD cards too! It is just so convenient to have spare SD cards seing how many gadget uses SD card for storage expansions etc.

Anyway I would also recommend OP to get extra separate SD cards
