Homebrew using a gba games's memory as RAM FOR DS?

Looks like you answered your own question the gba games are not ram they are rom meaning you can only read the data not right.

Some GBA game cartridges contain 32 KB of SRAM, usually used for storing games. Other than that, the cartridges have nothing that can act as RAM. If you want to use that SRAM from your DS program, feel free, but I don't really see it helping too much when you've got a full 4 MB to work with in the first place.
