Im using a usb c cable to transfer nsp files from pc to the switch via usb ns loader, the process works flawless . But the switch indicates its charging and it drains the battery while transferring the files like 1 to 2 percent. Is this normal??? Im afraid this cable migth kill the switch charging port . Should i use another cable??

most pc's will only supply like 500mh so while the switch is in use it will drain but just not as fast as if it wasnt charing. you can dim the screen to make it less noticeable, it really depends on the pc to how much power it wants to supply but its usualy 5v 500Mh usb c to usb c on most motherboards should provide at least 5v 3amp which would be 15 watts rather than the 2.5w of usb A
some usb A can provide more current but its really down to specific motherboards and ports, asus have an option for fast charge on their boards since around 2005 which can do i think about 5v 2amp over usb A

It should be charging but at a low ampheres, meaning the battery will still drain as you are running homebrew and installing games.

It shows its charging tbe battery, but as im installing gamed trough usb, while installing the games it drains the battery like 1 to 2 percent depending on how much time it takes to install the game...

To explain it easier, the battery discharge faster than what the USB cable can supply that why it is draining some battery, but that is no big deal if it 1-2 percents.
