Hacking USB ports suddenly stopped working.

Everything was well just last night, but today my Wii refuses to recognize ANY USB devices, no matter what program or what ios is loaded. I checked out my setup on my WiiU and everything seems to work, for the most part. I have a wode, and when I plug the cables in, it lights up, so the ports are getting power. HELP!!!
EDITerp! My extension cables were badly connected. >.>
