Hacking USB MicroSD reader

That will probably sound stupid, but my laptop (And my only computer) is not able to read the MicroSD reader at all. It says it can't recognize it and that it requires something to be installed to be able to detect it. The problem isn't the USB device, neither the MicroSD card used, because it always worked with other computers, before.

But now, I can't use it anymore and I can't change anything on the card.

What can I do?

Try using another USB reader or use a microSD to SD card.

i had some issues and its probably dirty USB ports if not the usb reader or card.
if after trying kiaku's suggestion u cant get anything then definitely the USB ports are problematic

I had the same trouble with a Duracell microSD card reader. After downloading drivers from Duracell. it did work for awhile, but stopped working. The duracell microsd card is till working fine.

Just get another card reader.

I had the same problem and I switched my sd adapter. My Toshiba laptop does not like sandisk sd adapters for some reason.
