First I'd like to say, great Back Ground layout.

Ok, this is what i've found.

I can't seem to get box art to work no matter how I boot the loader.

When I boot through HBC or a forwarder I get the games list and can
confirm PAL/NTSC switching seems to work but I always get SD error
when ocarina code launches.

When loading through preloader, again box art fails to load but this time
so does the games list. Just times out and errors -1.

I'm on a PAL console running 4.0.

Other USB Loaders have worked fine inc the other threads All-in-One loader.

Hope this helps.

@L0ck1E
Thanks for your info!

to get the box art working, you have to have the cover pictures in SD:\apps\"PATHTODOL"\IMAGES
I don't have problems with the covers.
You either have the wrong path or your GameID doesn't match the name of the png file.

About that SD error, I would say that's cos you don't have the \codes Folder on the root of your SD
or maybe cos you don't have a file in that folder.
I don't know exactly. I believe this part of code was done by WiiPower...

And about autobooting that dol with preloader, I can't tell you anything. *regret*

Good News everyone! I got the box art to work! My images are 160 X 225. To get the images working you have to have the same # of games in the "sd:\apps\usbloaderMod\images". The name of the game on the drive is the name of the png file. Ex. Wii Sports is RSPE01 hence the name of the image file is RSPE01.png

Can You Make A Channel Version Of This Plz This Looks Wicked

my friend what's wrong with you ????? you are running all over the place making tutorials one after another in the front page and yet promote Wadder in your signature ( I love the Wadder team by the way great people and all respect ) and you are asking someone else to make a channel for you , NOW this is must be an extension to April Fools Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shizzzzzzaaaaaaaaa great work buddy , keep it coming ( by the way I'm not a coder as well but I love to mess with codes

@ WiiShizzza
Thanks for the reply. I not sure why it fails to work for me.

I've kept the filing structure the same as other working loaders,
just swapped their .dol out for yours. Logic say it should work
but alas it doesn't.

Again, the same with the cheats. I've had a test file for Madworld
working no other loaders but I'm just getting SD error with yours.

Preloader is the same, others run and load box art, just can't get
yours to run correctly. Only difference with preloader is that the
images folder has to be in the root of the SD.

So I have two image folders on my SD, one in root and the other
in apps/loader/.

Was all just for your info really, I'll keep testing and see what I
come up with.

In the mean time, keep up the good work.

thx.

I'll try, I'll try....

Maybe I'll find something in the source... more or less I doubt it, cos I don't understand it fully...
We'll wait what tomorrow will bring.
Maybe there is some willing Code Guru who can look into the source.

really nice work Shizzza dude, i too are like yourself, i'm not a professional coder but i like to play and recompile and such.

you seem to have a gotten a good grasp of it though , but your graphics are outstanding dude as is all your work i've seen, keep it up dude.

strange to me but force ntsc only works with the versions bluebird or raptor do...all the ones i try from neoshizza ect arent working on rogue trooper but DO work on mario kart pal...smash bros pal...so to a degree the force ntsc IS working but NOT as well as bluebird12 has his working it will load EVERY SINGLE PAL GAME I PLAY in ntsc...i mean like even rogue troopers! i posted a vid in another thread i can share if you want to see?

anyway you have some very professional looking designs nice work so far cant wait for a loader that can force NTSC on rogue and have ocarina got my files all setup

Thanks vetta.. but u gotta remember I did ONLY FORCE NTSC, i never had the option of press 1 NTSC, etc. And my NTSC is based off of Wiipower who originally did it.

listen can you PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU BlueBird! try to make a force NTSC with ocarina support then i will just use that and forget the fancy gui crap untill the good coverflow one arrives

promise ill shut up if you can ive been hangin stalkin the threadz for days!

I'll add the source to the first post.
Maybe one of the Gurus can proofread it.
Would be cool, cos like this we/I could learn how it is done properly.

I'm on a PAL Wii and as for me forcing NTSC works for all I have tested...

it does work...but not as well...for example it works on crash mind over mutant pal...works on smash bros single or dual layer pal....works on mario kart pal even the texture hack...but if you watch that vid you see it does not work AS WELL as bluebirds based of wiipowers?! just think its noteworthy and should not be overlooked

@vettacossx

I'll second that.
Hopefully some skilled coder takes a closer look at the source.

I'll go end see the bed now. It's pretty early on this side of the globe....^^
