Hacking USB Loader... my turn ;)

He only fixed 2 things.

The game at top of list now shows.
And Game cover doesn't make it code dump anymore if sized wrong.


Not worth using yet.............

I understand he's about to release 1.4 and CIOS11 tomorrow or soon there after.

I spend my whole day (yesterday) to find out everything about wads

, and after a lot of work I finnaly managed to make an animated channel with the loader from this thread
So I hope you guys like it

, and hope the guys who made it don't have anything against it

Inside the zip is the wad with the adult version of the loader (V3), a movie from the loader itself (that is the 8 mb xD) and the images map

anyone tried to make the loader pull the cover images from Buffer? like having them in /data?

i've tried a few different arguements and it just wont compile.

Ok, Maybe it is early ... but I've been around these loaders for a bit, but feeling like a nooB here.

I downloaded V3 ..

dropped the Adult, black list version on my SD card in "sd:/apps/usbloader/" (so boot.dol is there)
dropped a new bg.png (The simpsons theme for fun) in sd:/apps/usbloader/images/
Placed ALL my images in sd:/apps/usbloader/images/

When I fire this up via Homebrew Channel , I get a wierd Brown looking background ... and NO cover images at all (just the noimage.png is displayed) However the loader works just fine it seems.

I also took ALL images, and dropped them into sd:/images/ .... but still no luck.

Before I have a coffee, what am I missing here? Why is this not picking up my own bg.png as well as the covers?

edit: All my cover images are 160x225 ... work in all my other loaders (my own image pack that I distribute)

i changed the sources to fit the same way as the first version did to work well with the images.
But i dont know how you compile the makefiles instead of using VC Studio 2008 cauz this doesn't work.
Any help on this (compiling) would be nice.

Update:

I formatted my SD card, and dropped everything back on it, EXACTLY where I had it before ... Works fine now !

Go Figure.

That is the right location. Works here and I have everything as posted above, not sure why does not work in your case. ???
