I've got two .WBFS files for two different Wii games on my USB stick. If I put the USB in the Wii before I load USB Loader GX, it freezes on the 'initialize USB device' screen. But if I wait until it says 'Waiting for HDD...' and then put it in, it freezes on that screen. I can't put it in after it's loaded either because then it just doesn't act like I've put anything in and only shows the channels I have installed on my Wii and SD card.
I want to boot the WBFS files from my USB drive so I can play them on Loader GX, but it doesn't work.

USB stick don't work great. try another one, maybe you'll be lucky.
or use an external HDD instead, the problem will be solved right away :)

be sure it's plugged in Port 0 (bottom on Wii, back-top on WiiU)

it's the one to the BOTTOM if you ... don't put the console upside down.
it's the one to the bottom, when it's flat and on its feet. check where the feet are?

"right" or "left" depends the view (front or back) so it's not very useful.
bottom is ALWAYS bottom.

Yep, I've got it in there. I used to have a 1TB HDD but I have no idea where that is now. :(

If it shows the channels I have on my SD card when it's not got a USB stick in it, then couldn't I just load them off my SD if I had one of them saved in there?
