Homebrew USB Loader GX stuck on "reinitializing devices"

I used this tutorial () to homebrew my vWii on my Wii U, I installed USB Loader, I put my USB on the back top usb slot
And it still is stuck, and I can't even power off the wii u, I need to disconnect the power adapter so it shuts down.
USB is SanDisk Cruzer Slide 3.0 (32gb, FAT32)

I've had this happen too with UsbloaderGX. I noticed that if I went to fast into the app the HDD had not had enough time to spin up. I wait like 30 seconds after going into the vwii and then I start USBloader and it will work. The other thing to keep in mind is that the Wii U is not powerful enough to power on a hdd with on USB, you need a y-cable or a HDD with a dedicated power supply.
