Hacking USB Loader GX stuck at "Loading config files"...

I recently transferred all of my homebrew files to an 500GB external hard drive, and I also did some file organizing because it was a mess. Now when I load up USB Loader GX, it gets stuck at "Loading config files". I looked, and there's no config folder on the root or anywhere else, nor are there any config-esque files in the apps/usbloader_gx folder. Do you think I accidentally moved/deleted something that I shouldn't have? And how would I get those files back?

Edit - The exact same file structure runs perfectly well off of a 16GB sandisk flash drive.

After some more searching, I found that loading USB Loader GX via SD card got everything to work.
