Hacking USB Loader GX stuck at "Initialize USB device"

The cios 236 installs the ability to use HW_AHBPROT like the GX Launcher needs. Anyway it gives Programmes and the insatlled cios the ability for full Wii/vWII Hardware access. Like the GX-Loader Channel needs. And so, ya i think it can helpfull https://gbatemp.net/threads/what-is-ahbprot.263882/

If your using a USB 3.0 HDD its recomended to use a Y-Cabel how u know. The HDD need more Power to start up then the usb port gives. And Get a short USB Cabel with an angel that u can plug in the front usb port, so your hdd only boots up when u start the wii Uand is not powered all the time.

Later if everything runs well and u use the upper port connect to a WII U drive and the lower for a vWII drive, use this tool on the drive for the vWII. it stops the nag oround of the Wii U that the vWII drive is not formated. There is HBL Version and one for the Win.

Still for the Problem of the "not initialized" USb stick.. Use google.. there a plenty entries with this Problem..

It looks like cIOS 236 was all i needed! It's finally working and recognized my games now! It's mounting the USB like a charm!

I'd like to thank you all so much who replied this thread and set aside some time to try to answer with solutions! @Desraptor special thanks to you who made really detailed and clarified posts!

By the way, i sadly can't use the tool for having two usb for Wii U and vWii at the same time. This is because the HDD i got for Wii U, currently uses a Y cable, and requires two USB ports. To be honest, I don't really bother having to switch between one USB to another everytime, i guess that's fine!

@XFlak, does this sound right? IIRC, cios236 is about Trucha signing.
