Hacking USB loader GX stopped playing GC games

So I have on my vWii USB loader gx, which has my wii and gc games. All the games show up off the HDD. But only wii games work? The GC games will either freeze on a black screen or after asking what language I want to set up. Does anyone know how to fix or troubleshoot this issue? They were all working before. The only new configuration is I put my Wii U HDD in the front of the console. Both HDD have Y cables. Thanks in advance!

The HDD for gamecube/wii games is in the back of the Wii U system. The main USB of the Y cable is in Port 0.

Seems like if I unplug the Wii U HDD the gamecube games sometimes work? Not sure if there is a way to fix this issue

All I had to do was update Nintendont. Works great now!

I think nintendont had an update to ignore other hardrives. Originally it had issues and could only have one plugged in. So if had Wii U hd in it would try and check it and cause not the format it caused it to not work even though u had another hd that was the right format and had games on it
