Howdy all,
I recently softmodded a friends wii using the wiihacks softmod any wii guide. I verified that the system is correctly softmodded and works with my personal USB HD with wii games. I took my friends 1TB seagate and partitioned it into 2 sectors: a WBFS and a NTFS. I used WBFS manager to copy her games to her HD.
I verified that my friends HD works on my own softmodded wii (a launch unit that was hard and softmodded many moons ago) running the latest USB loader GX.
However, USB Loader GX on my friends wii will not list the games on her usb Drive. It detects the drive and the partitions, but no games are listed. It even shows the correct amount of disk space remaining on the drive partition. I verified that WiiFlow DOES work on her wii and with her HD.
Any thoughts on what could be going on? This is really weird and I can't figure it out.
