When my GX starts up on the loading page for the GX it starts to run on cIOS249 then switches to CIOS222 why does it do this? After the 30 second wait it asks which one do I want to use to detect the HDD when I choose either one it can't find the HDD. This only happens sometimes but why?

If a WBFS partition is not detected, I guess it switch to IOS222 to check for a FAT32 partition (FAT32/NTFS needs Hermes cIOS).
Then again, if not found (HDD not mounted yet ?), it says Partition not found.
You HDD is maybe not compatible with USBloaders.
Did you check the Devices compatibility list ?
