Hi everyone,
I am trying to run Wii games off my HDD. When i first got USB Loader GX running, I could select the games from my HDD but when i clicked to start the game i would be sent back to the Home screen after a few seconds. I saw an old reply from CYAN for the same issue that said to install d2x v8 final, in slot 249, using base57, version 65535. When I rebooted USB Loader GX could no longer see the HDD. I am assuming/hoping that I just need to tweak the settings a little. Any suggestion?
In a spectacular show of bad judgement, I used a hodgepodge of different video and text instruction to get everything setup. If it would be easier to start from scratch than to fix my mess, please let me know what guide you would suggest.

Hello,

Your CIOS are stub (empty), you must have had an update that went through the. This is why the wii does not recognize the hard drive.

you must reinstall your CIOS correctly by following this guide ==>https://wii.guide/cios

I strongly recommend you to install Priiloader to counter the updates (Online and DVD), by following this guide ==>https://wii.guide/priiloader

Or another way ==> use Modmii, to install your CIOS and Priiloader by following the famous Modmii guide from Xflak ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/
