Hacking USB Loader 1.4 can mount but not format :s

I'm using USB laoder 1.4 with cios rev10

It recognises by usb hdd, says mounting drive when i pick "USB mass storage device"

Says "there is no WBFS partition. would you like to create one?"

I say yes.

Comes up with "No partitions found (rev=-6)"

Any idea? I'vetried reformatting my hdd.

Ive formatted it with WBFS manager 2.2 and put isos on it and still nothing.

NB:

On usb loader 1.1 my hdd gets a -1 error as not recognied.

Tricked it into formatting on 1.1 by pulling out a working 2gb memstick on the format screen.
Black screens for several minutes and offers me 4 random sized partitions. Clicking it made my wii hang on "formatting. Please wait" (I left it over an hour, there was no flashing on the hdd light :S)

My HDD is 250gb iomega LPHD-UP. The 320 gb version of this is reported as working.

Problem solved.
Loaded up with ultimate loader 7.

Pulled the usb out then put it back in again during 40 second check and it works fine
