hey i have a 1tb hard drive floasting aronud and i want to use if for my Wii u but it keeps clicking because there sint sufficent power is there a way to power it effective without the use of a y cable

Get a Y usb cable, with 2 usb

or a powered usb hub. the normal end in the wii u and the split power end in the hub
