Homebrew USB Hard Drive?

My deepest apologies if this has been posted countless times, but the apps like Geexbox that support USB drives - would they support my 320GB external hard drive.

Oh, and one more thing - does Geexbox support DivX videos?

yes use geexbox for hard drives, might be slow at first loading a divx but it will get there eventually
