Well then, if you tested it with both ports and it can't load the files, you're gonna need another USB device.

do yu know where to get a good usb cuz every usb i get don't work and there all 8gb the ones i bought i go to radio shack and get mines i theres only high gb flashdrives 16/32 no lows tho

That doesn't sound right. Are you sure you tried to read the data, and ignored the LED that's supposed to light up?

And what brand are you using? My 2GB sandisk works fine.

i did test it in both of the usb ports but it didn't load none of the files and i was just stuck

Uh, I can't view your MAIL attachments.

And like I said, if it's not loading anything, you're gonna need a compatible USB device.
ok i hear yu and umm i just changed the link now yu can see them and my fault if im messing up im just in a rush

Those cruzer and older ones had worked fine for me.
It sounds like user error, how exactly are you running FreeMcBoot off of USB?

I got the install folder on the root on my sandisk flash drive and freemcboot.elf on root.

Preferably a 2GB USB thumbdrive. My Kingston 2GB SD card in a card reader from the days of old has never failed me so far on the PS2
