Hacking updating????

I have a newnew 3ds lol that's modded believe on luma3ds. 11.8us firmware I think. curious if its worth updating? im assuming not

if you're on 11.8 and it's asking to update, then do it, it means your system is missing files and it wants to redownload those files

First replace boot.firm on the SD card with the latest one here: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Then you can update normally

update from normal settings? and is the update worth it/safe? only reason I came across it is I saw there was an update for minecraft lol

Yeah, update through System Settings like normal. As long as you have B9S, (which you do, since you're able to run the latest Luma), then updating is usually safe.

I say usually because there's always a chance that an update could break something. For example, 11.8 initially broke Luma, but Luma 9.1 fixes that.
