Hacking Updating?

Not sure where to post this so I'll just post it here.
I got a copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2. So far, so good, right?
Well, I haven't updated my Wii in forever, but I know that I'm running a Wiikey.
Can I update to 4.3 or will I get bricked?

Why do you want to?? But to answer your question, you won't get bricked.

Updating to 4.3 brings only bad stuff. System Menu 4.1 is the last version with new features. All further versions are only to block homebrew and piracy. Your Wii will probably not be bricked if you update to 4.3, but you still shouldn't do it. If you use DOP-Mii to update to 4.1 you get all the new features without most of the bad stuff.

IOS -> IOS60 v6174 with patches
System menu -> 4.1

Umm, I thought Super Mario Galaxy 2 only updates you to 4.2?
