Hacking Updating a region changed SysNAND? [a9lh]

I installed a9lh onto a JAP O3DS and changed its region to USA. How should I go about updating it from 9.2 to 10.7? Is going through System Settings going to work or do I have to manually update via SysUpdater?

Because I have my sysnand 10.7 with a9lh and there is no problems...

I think it was when updating from 2.1.0. I don't quite remember as it was a few threads back then.

So download 10.7.0-32 USA from 3DNUS and then update via SysUpdater?

I think it was when updating from 2.1.0. I don't quite remember as it was a few threads back then.

If it's from 2.1.0 then why would you say he might brick? He's on 9.2. The only reason you brick updating from 2.1 is because your on o3ds firmware on n3ds.

Please people if your not sure about something wait for someone else to help because you end up spreading misinformation, and that causes noobs to read it and spread it even more.

You CAN update through system settings with arm9loader hax as long as your using a cfw that allows it.

No use system setting to update if using aureinand, if using cakes make sure that you have the firmware blocking active in the cakes menu

Supposed to yes and if you have a9lh that means you have a nand backup and you'll be able to restore if worse comes to worse (it won't so don't worry)

I'll just say this again if your have aureinand don't worry if your have cakes MAKE SURE you go into the cakes menu and activate firm0/1 blocking

You can update through system settings. I have changed regions on my N3DS from JPN to US and have had no problems except from eshop.
