Hacking Updating 5.3.2

This is my first message on here and i feel shame because i am asking help directly. Last week i bought a used Wii U and it has 4.0.2 or 4.1.0 version, i will check and write it later and it has softmod on vwii mod i check and find legend of kay anniversary Pal game on ebay without acceptable prize, im planning to buy it for updating 5.3.2 version
I wonder about when i update my console will vwii softmod continue working or will it be bring or will vwii be restored and no more softmod for me ?
When i read about Wii U mod gaming can i play games from a hdd or a usb or only sd cari ?
If only sd card, can i ise 128 gb sd card or something like that
Thanks for all helping i am sure i will have a Lot of more questions but when i be succesful on Wii U gaming mod i am planning to do a guide with a Lot of pics for users who dont know english well...

OP, your vWii softmod should not be affected, and even if it would be, you can still re-install it after the update.
Also, you can only run Wii U games from the SD card at the moment. And 128GB is more than fine for Wii U games!

EDIT: Also make sure that if you have just bought (or are going to buy) an 128GB SD card, you make sure you first format it to FAT32, as the default filesystem will be more-than-likely ExFAT, which Loadiine doesn't support.

If you have 4.0.0+, you can run some games even before you update to 5.3.2. This way you can check if your sd card works to be sure that everything is setted up when disk arrives.

Actually I didn't buy sd card yet, and I didn't buy the game for update, I'm on the beginning point
