I updated my system firmware to 6.1.0 as I was having autorcm issues which I couldn't correct otherwise and I’m a dumbass. Only issue is now the Switch keeps telling me that my memory card needs a system update (currently exfat format, 128GB card) even though it's already up to date. The card was working fine on the Switch for months prior to this. I've tried using the payload to load SXOS, however, nothing happens and it doesn’t boot into CFW presumably because of the Switch not acknowledging the card. Is there a way to fix this?

Get the exfat update via the official way (if you don't care about the possible ban) or format your SD to fat32 (probably different SD so that you don't lose your data) and install the exFAT update with choidujournx.

Hi
You need to add exFAT support via the homebrew ChoixduJour (you'll have to download the 6.1 FW version and extract it on a Fat32 card to proceed).

So I should format a memory card to Fat32, add the SXOS files to it, as well as ChoixduJour, and then install the 6.1 firmware that way. Is there any chance it could brick my Switch or whatever since I’m already on 6.1 via official methods?

I have two memory cards so I’ll use a different one to do this. Once it’s done, do I then just put in the original exfat memory card without making any changes to it?

I appreciate the help, thank you.

Yeah that's the proper way to go about it.
And since you're already on 6.1 the homebrew ChoixduJour will only install the exFAT update.

Is there a link where I could download the 6.1 FW to put on the memory card please? Sorry and thanks again
