Hacking Updated NSP hangs at boot

Running atmosphere CFW on a softmoded switch.

I downloaded an NSP update for a game I already had installed, after updating the game hangs at nintendo switch loading screen, I've tried removing the game entirely and clean installing the base+update from same source but it still hangs.

Also tried the following -

1. Installed same game from multiple sources
2. Removing the ticket via goldleaf and reinstalling ticket/NCA via tinfoil but still no luck.
3. Updating atmosphere

Any advice on what could be causing this? Please let me know if I missed out any vital info.

Do you have the required firmware to run this game?
Not all games work if your firmware is below a certain version.
Do you have the latest sigpatches installed?

Switch is showing current system version - 9.1.0 AMS M18.1 s - is that my firmware version? Website states firmware 6.2 is needed for this NSP

I havent updated sig patches in a while where can I find a good source?

I got a reply from the source they say 11.0 firmware is needed otherwise the latest update wont work.

how can I update my firmware and will I lose any CFW ability?

If your console is not patched, then it is impossible to lose the ability to load CFW. Also what website states the required firmware is 6.2 if the "source" claims it needs 11.0?
