Hacking update Wii

Ok i got 2 wiis that have allready softmoded and downgraded to 4.1 now the owners whant me to update them to newest update. And both of them have been softmoded a different way.
Is it Ok to update with internet and then softmod again or is there another way ?

so i just update them from system menu with wifi and then follow this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/modify-any-wii-4-3-below.171901/ i got the Lego Indiana Jones game
