PS3/PS Vita developer SKFU has released an application, with the help of his fellow coder iQD, have released a PC PSN client, here is a quote from the source:

Good evening, everyone!
Proudly I present you my newest application “PSN Infinity v2“.
Since in most news posts my genius co-coder iQD is forgotten, I have to mention him for his great help on this application here once again.
This version is released as public beta. Completing the app and including all functions I want it to have will take several weeks but the main function aka browsing the PSN stores is already working.
This is the first time I force a donation alert in an app, but necessary as this program is a very huge and time consuming project.
So if you like this beta, please donate a small amount to give me some more time to work on this nice project

I will give you a sneak preview about the functions I focus to add soon:
  • 100% PSN PC client
  • linux and MAC version
  • finish the search function
  • download PKG for guest account
  • add comic & video stores support
  • activate/deactivate your consoles remotly
  • complete account management on PC (like on PS3)
  • change your PSN Online ID (like in japanese region accounts)
  • bring back PC to PS3 messaging (if we’ll ever get xi-passphrase back)
  • etc etc etc…
If you reach error 99, please install the VC redistributables.

If you find any bugs or have suggestions don’t hesitate to e-mail me: ([email protected]).
This application is made for research and investigation.
There is no intention to use it for piracy!
Kind regards,
- SKFU[/indent]

Just to get this straight, right off the bat, SO NO ONE HAS TO ASK THIS AGAIN...

This is just a PSN browser, NOT a way to pirate games, correct?

I think it downloads PKG files...but I'm not 100% sure on that cuz I only used it for a couple of minutes.

version 1.01 update should be added to OP http://streetskaterfu.blogspot.de/2012/03/psn-infinity-v2-101.html

From the looks of the screenshot, it looks like you can only download PKG files of items you bought/ downloaded before, much like the shopping history on PSN

Looks great!

I'll install it when I get home, but I already have a doubt:

I have two memory cards, one for my Brazilian PSN, other for my USA PSN, so, when you say that is possible to: "activate/deactivate your consoles remotely", I will get an easier way to change accounts on my Vita?

no

I got logged in successfully, but all the categories are blank. I have PS3 games purchased (someone mentioned it may only be download history) but nothing shows up for PS3, PSP, or PSV.

Secondly, what purpose does this pose? Will it allow us to do something like download demos and such off the PSN without updating firmware or something?

Program crashes/closes automatically (without any error message) after I click on any of the PS3/PSVita/PSP tabs... v1.01 instantly closes after logging into the PSN, I can log in via guest account but program shuts down again when clicking on any of the tabs.

I'll try install that OpenSSL stuff to see if that helps. ^^

edit: It actually works now, after installing OpenSSL, but not really..

After the install I loaded the program, logged in, was able to see content from the PS3 store & Vita store, PSP was blank. After fiddling around with the icon size and speed settings the program crashed again (again no error messages anywhere) and when I started it again all stores were blank. Tried both versions multiple times but no content is shown in the store at all. :/

change your PSN Online ID (like in japanese region accounts)

Is this true? As in changing your actual display name and not your e-mail account? I would think Sony would prevent this as they don't even offer the ability as far as I know.

I had PSN Infinity v2 1.0 (beta) so I uploaded it here.
If someone has 1.01 (Login bugfix), please add it as a new version to filetrip.
I added it to PS3 section, as there's no common place for all Sony's console.

Also, don't forget that you need OpenSSL and VCredist.

@MakiManPR
I used your screenshot for filetrip.
