Well but the patch is not so easy to find, let alone the AR code, plus not everyone is a member of GBATemp, to just pop in the firmware and be able to play the rom whenever you like (without having to restore the cheat or patching the rom everytime you format your microsd) is pretty amazing.

So yeah, props to the R4 team for fixing this through firmware.
