Probably someday, but it took well over a year for memchunkhax2 to be publicly disclosed, if I'm not mistaken, so I wouldn't expect another one anytime soon. Kernel exploits are valuable to have on hand, which is why their releases are far and few between.

It's either that or a hardmod, and imma hope that 3DS devs are experienced enough with the hardware that they find a good enough exploit... hopefully.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had at least two or three more at their disposal (not that I have any proof, it's just a wild guess). It's a good thing to hang onto them until they're patched (it does cause end-users to get upset, but it's for good reason typically: so the devs can explore the system for even more exploits later, and learn about what was changed).

So there is no way to get an EmuNAND and rxTools/ReiNAND on a 10.5 fw (which is the original one) atm, right?
And what about doing a NAND dump?
